Welcome to my blog! Since this is a free wordpress account I could only play around with header, so I changed it to what I hope is a more exciting image that relates to the course. I found the picture on google images and thought it was cute. If I get bored of the layout I might transfer it to my website host in the future.
Well, since I don’t really have much to say for the moment, I will talk about my experience with blogging and digital publishing in general~ The first blog I ever had was with blogger (good for beginner bloggers) but I switched to Livejournal because most of my friends use it and I’m pretty active with participating and watching communities there, especially with regards to fandom news. I also like the flexibility in cutomization and levels of filtering and security that LJ offers. I do have a wordpress blog hosted on my website for film and tv reviews, but it’s been pretty inactive lately. Even though I do have a website, I created it using very simple table html coding… I still cannot fathom out CSS even though I’ve attempted to follow tutorials on the web~ not very savvy at this type of stuff, oh well. As for operating systems, I’m still getting used to Macs in the class because I use Windows alot (actually the only times I use a Mac is in class)… but I do like the shiny new Macbooks in the classroom though.
